NI Cyber Week - Wisdom and AI - Incompatible?

Challenging times you may ponder. Time to recognize that a wise Human in the Loop may be the path to follow. ISACA and ISC2 Chapters are delighted to be taking part in NI Cyber Week. We are honoured to make use of the Ulster Bank Accelerator Hub in Donegall Square East, Belfast.

Lunch will be served on arrival from 13:00 and we start at 13:45 aiming to finish about 15:45.

Details of speakers are being finalised but the aim of the day is to take in and explore what Article 114 of the EU AI ACT says about Human Oversight (Human in the Loop)

In particular:
Human oversight shall aim to prevent or minimise the risks to health, safety or fundamental rights that may emerge when a high-risk AI system is used in accordance with its intended purpose or under conditions of reasonably foreseeable misuse, in particular where such risks persist despite the application of other requirements set out....
...to intervene in the operation of the high-risk AI system or interrupt the system through a ‘stop’ button or a similar procedure that allows the system to come to a halt in a safe state.
