CyberNI Conference 2026

The CyberNI Conference 2026 took place on Tuesday 3rd March at La Mon Hotel, bringing together cyber security professionals and senior leaders across Northern Ireland for a day focused on enhancing the local cyber security community. The conference took place during CyberNI Week which theme is ‘Collaborating to Strengthen Cyber Resilience’.

Hosted by the Northern Ireland Cyber Security Centre (NICSC) in partnership with Socitm, the conference welcomed a strong lineup of speakers from across the cyber and digital sector, including Richard Horne, CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Peter King from our main Sponsors Acumen Cyber and investigative journalist Geoff White.

In partnership with NI Cyber Cluster, the CyberNI Conference incorporated a series of technical side sessions to offer more specialist insights for attendees. These sessions were delivered by Cyber Guarded (CyberNI Week Launch Event Sponsor), NCSC, CSIT, Queen’s University Belfast and Madigan Solutions.  Together, these sessions covered areas such as identity‑based threats, artificial intelligence in cyber security and the evolving challenges facing organisations. The Department of Science Innovation and Technology (DSIT) also delivered a dedicated side session to the Operators of Essential Services (OES) in Energy, Transport, Water and Health within Northern Ireland to provide an overview of the Cyber Security Resilience Bill.

Delegates spent the day connecting with exhibitors, networking with peers and learning about developments across Northern Ireland’s cyber community. The CyberNI conference is an exceptionally important opportunity to strengthen collaboration between public and private sector partners and to support a more resilient digital environment for all.

NICSC would like to thank all attendees, speakers, exhibitors and partners for contributing to another successful and fast‑growing CyberNI Conference. With over 410 in attendance this year, the event continues to expand annually, reinforcing a strong sense of community and shared purpose. By coming together in such numbers, organisations across Northern Ireland help champion the vital message that cyber security must remain a priority for every sector.

The CyberNI conference 2026 once again demonstrated the strength and collaboration within Northern Ireland’s cyber community, highlighting the shared commitment to making cyber security accessible, relevant and achievable for everyone.
