The Cyber Champions programme is designed to educate young people aged from Year 7 about all aspects of cyber security, and includes keeping themselves and their devices secure against cyber attacks and cyber crime. The programme aims to build community and individual resilience against the threat of cyber attacks and scams.
The aims of the programme include:-
- To promote positive behaviour among young people, educating them about how to recognise cyber threats and prevent cyber attacks.
- To encourage the sharing of knowledge with peers, family and the wide community particularly among those who may be more vulnerable to attack.
- To provide opportunities for personal and professional skills development.
